World Ski Awards

Let's make Špindlerův Mlýn the best resort in the Czech Republic again in the World Ski Awards 2026 poll

For us in the “heart of the Krkonose Mountains”, every visit, smile on the ski slope or time spent together with a good meal in Plán or Medvědín is the greatest reward. If you like coming back to us and enjoyed the winter season with us, we will be grateful if you support us with your vote in an international comparison.

About the World Ski Awards survey: The World Ski Awards™ is a prestigious global initiative that annually recognizes and celebrates the best in ski tourism. Its goal is to connect the ski community and inspire mountain resorts to continuous innovation, growth and improvement of service quality. For Špindlerův Mlýn, this survey is an opportunity to show that our ski slopes and service are among the best, comparable to iconic resorts such as Kitzbühel or Val Thorens.

Why is your vote important? Your vote is not just a point in the table. It is confirmation for us that the work we devote to preparing the ski slopes and developing the area is meaningful to you. Help us regain the title of the best ski resort in the Czech Republic for 2026.

Project Connection: Billion-Kronor Investment in Connecting Resorts

The Špindlerův Mlýn ski resort is undergoing the largest investment in its history. In April 2026, construction began on a new, modern 6-seater Audi Line Přehradní chairlift from terminal P1 to Hromovka, which, together with the new red ski slope Přehradní, will be put into operation this December. It doesn't end there - on the other side of the valley, the Lesní ski slope and the ski bridge over the access road to Špindlerův Mlýn will be completed this year. This will bring a one-way ski connection between the Medvědín and Svatý Petr resorts. The entire two-way connection of the resorts will take place next year after the construction of a new 10-seater cabin cable car leading from terminal P1 to Medvědín. The project, with a total investment of 1.1 billion crowns, will be completely completed before the 2027/28 winter season. More information about the Project Connection here.
