Chinese Downhill 2026
The eleventh year of the legendary event under the wings of the MAROSANA crew! A mass downhill bike ride down the snowy slope of the red ski run in Svatý Petr. You simply cannot miss it, whether as a spectator or a competitor!
If anyone has participated in this event in the past, they know what we are talking about. It is a celebration of mountain biking in winter. To meet the bike community at this special time and also to share cards? That is simply the duty of every heartthrob. The winner takes an artistic trophy, which is made in a different form for each year, simply original.
In addition to all this, an upgrade of the track is planned, which mainly concerns safety, and also a lot of surprises. Exhibitions, music and stands cannot be missed. Simply the show must go on!!! In Svatý Petr, the eleventh year of the popular CHINESE DOWNHILL event is being prepared under the baton of MAROSANA!
This is a unique race of this format not only in the Czech Republic. A mass downhill on mountain bikes, on snow on a red slope and it will be a massacre again! 300 competitors will line up at the start again!!!
Did you not have time to participate or register last year? Do you want to challenge your friends? Are you a candidate for the podium? So you simply have to grab this extraordinary experience this year! Read carefully if you want to be at the start of the eleventh year of CHINESE DOWNHILL!
The qualifying round will be run in three groups of 100 riders and will start with a mass start on the red unprepared slope in Svatý Petr. 50 of them go to the final run! The best 150 will compete there!
Every year the conditions are a little different and what will it be like this year? Come and see for yourself! The track is about two km long and has about ten turns with safety nets. Everyone can win, but it is more important to participate! Marosana Crew and Skiareál Špindlerův Mlýn will be ready for you!

Where: Ski Resort Špindlerův Mlýn - Svatý Petr (red slope)
What: Mass downhill mountain bike race. 300 riders will start down the slope in three qualifying groups.
- The 50 fastest from each group will go to the final.
- Free parking for cars on Hromovka (approx. 10 min walk to Sv. Petr).
- We recommend leaving early, Špindl is very exposed at this time
Rules:
- Everyone can participate in the race, regardless of license.
- Categories: Women and Men
- Mountain bike in good technical condition (downhill, enduro or freeride recommended).
- It is forbidden to use any spikes, screws or nails mounted in the tires!
- A quality pattern on the tires is recommended!
- Inappropriate physical contact is prohibited (assessed by judges along the course).
- Each competitor must ride between the marked gates, otherwise they will be disqualified!
- Be over 18 years old. If I am 15-18 years old, I can only start with an adult representative or with the written consent of one of my parents.
- Mandatory equipment: integral helmet, knee pads, glasses and gloves (spine protector recommended).
- Registration is possible from 11.1.2026 at 11:00 on the website www.sportt.cz
- It is forbidden to move around on a bicycle on the slopes outside of the racing rides and the reserved area for training!
- A corridor at the end of the black slope will be reserved for test rides
Schedule:
- 10:00 -13:30 registration confirmation, starting numbers, chips - Stadion Restaurant, Sv. Petr
- 14:00 closing of the red slope to the public, construction of the track
- 14:00 gradual exit by the six-seater chairlift Sv. Petr - Pláň (starts according to numbers - i.e. first group 1-100, second group 101-200, third group 201-300)
- 14:30 gradual closing of the red slope for the race and starting order
- 15:00 start of the first qualification group (100 competitors mass descent)
- 15:30 start of the second qualification group (100 competitors mass descent)
- 16:00 start of the third qualification group (100 competitors mass descent)
- 16:15 fastest 150 competitors from the qualification - transfer to the chairlift
- 17:00 start of the race (150 competitors mass descent), FINALE
- 17:15 Dj Wajtas (Red Bull Saurus)
- 17:30 announcement of results at the finish line of the race (first 3 women and 5 men) and overall results list
Entry fee:
Payment possible only online 890,- CZK (the price of online registration includes a race number with a chip, a cable car for the race ride, Red Bull energy drink, a sticker and a badge from the event)
